- Wounds as a result of complications from surgery
Hand Reconstruction
Hand trauma is one of the most common injuries Dr. Singh treats in the Emergency Room. Hand injuries that involve tendons, ligaments, nerves, bony structures and soft tissues require highly skilled care that is generally not within the scope of practice for an Emergency Room physician or PA. Very often, the functionality of the hand is in jeopardy after a complex hand injury. Such function includes grip strength and the ability to grasp, hold and manipulate objects. If vital structures such as tendons and nerves are not treated appropriately or in a timely manner that ability (that so many of us take for granted) could be diminished or even permanently lost. Dr. Singh has provided his hand patients excellent results, even following catastrophic injury.
Dr. Singh treats the following conditions in the Emergency Room and in the office:
- Soft tissue trauma
- Tendon, Nerve & Ligament injuries
- Fractures and bony structure injuries
- Compartment Syndrome
- Carpal Tunnel Release
- Forearm Injuries (bony and soft tissue)
